Que Tal Familia!?
Como le va
It's my last week in the MTC! Woot woooooooooot. I am so excited. But I've actually come to love this place so much. Its weird its doesnt really feel like I'm on a real life mission yet becuase my investogators here are my teachers but I will be finding and teaching REAL people who don't know about the gospel in a week! I leave the MTC on April 23rd at 3 AM I should be calling home at 6 or 7 AM Boston time. Our flight leaves SLC at 6AM so we will call the time we are waiting in the airport and we should be at the airport at 430 am so 630 am Boston time right? Well just be awake parents!
You all are either a hit or miss with the emails and letters. I either get EVERYONE email me and write me one week or like only Dad and Mom hahah lets try for mor consistancy. Even coordinate who writes me which week hahaa. Just kidding thanks for all the love! I loved Ada the pictures of Tammy and Camden. Thanks for those I showed everyone... in the computer room. Well I don't have much time today at all and I don't really know what to say. Nobody wrote me about there conference experience! I want to hear about everyones favorite talks! This week the favorite things I learned was 1 from a talk given by Elder Scott about 2 conferences ago in October called "the transforming power of faith and character."Everybody MUST read that talk. Its just filled with solid gold. Or maybe it was just what I needed to hear at the moment so every sentence was applicable. I loved the talk! Some of the things I got from it was that your character is a manefestation of how well you have used your experiences on the earth. And that character is not meant to be built in hard times and trials that is when it is intended to be used. There were just so many different ways of viewing trials and character. Really please read the talk it will help you self evaluate and have a new look on faith and character.
Another awesome qoute that me and my district came up with this Sunday when we were discussing the Atonement is this qoute. "Jesus Christ was above us all, He descended below us all, to KNOW us all." I think that is very powerful. Jesus Christ CHOOSE to give his life for US. He has already done his part we already have the gift, it is waiting to be opened and used. If we aren't repenting every day we are not getting the most out of the amazing gift as we can be. I am grateful for the love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ had and still does have to me and all of us that he was willing to sacrafice so much and Jesus Christ himself had to put his own faith in his Heavenly Father as well.
Today at the temple me and my companion learned soooo much. I bet you all already have figured this out but doing a session at the temple and then looking at the second picture in Abraham is mind blowing. This church is sooo true. Everything is done so perfectly and meticulously. This gospel is perfect. The people in it may not be but Heavenly Father is perfect and he heads this church.
Ah I'm just so happy to have this wonderful blessing in my life.

( I GO TO THE FIELD TOMMOROW)I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This last week was literally the perfect week to close up my MTC experience. The MTC has strengthened my testimony so much. Not really that I learned no gospel doctrine just the fact that I am more deeply rooted in what I know and am more converted to the gospel. Man do I love it. On tuesday the devotional was Richard G. Scott!!!!!! and it was amazing. I hope you all read the talk that I told you to read by him last week. This talk was basically the same thing but he touched on a few different points and directed it more to missionary work. Some of the favorite points I got from the talk was something which I think I talked about before but he said : To reach a goal never before attained [or arrive at miracles], we must do things that have never before been done. That is so true. I have a silly little example but on Sunday BYU mens choir came and sang to us and it was amazing. We had a departure devotional which got out at 6:30 and usually lines to get into the main building and not watch the overflow start at like 6! The regular line we always go to was so long but thats all we knew! Then we remebered there was a nother door on the side of the building and saw a few people walking that way. We were unsure but decided to take the risk and see how long that line was not sure if we would be completely loosing our chance to get it. Well that wasnt the case there was like NO line over there at all. It was a small miracle for us but totally put into play that concept. If we want miracles to happen in our lives or if we want to reach goals we have to get out of our comfort zone! We have to do what we can to push ourselves either our faith or our physical ability and thats when amazing things happen. - really that sounds like a stupid example but getting into the big room for devotional is a BIG deal. hahaAnother point I liked: When we have an impression in our heart, be careful not to rationalize it away with our minds. Just act.Another point: confirmaton comes through small packets of inspiration. I thought that was soooo cool. He said something like Revelation or confermation are like little notes of approval froma loving Heavenly Father telling us we are on the right path or that he wants us to continue being righteous disciples of him. I just loved that because everyone needs confirmation that theire doing things right and who better to get confirmation from then Heavenly Fathers and his loving approval. My last favorite part from Elder Scotts talk was when he said " we have been called and the Lord fits the task to our capabilities" The Lord knows me and you and he knows our strengths and weaknesses. I am not perfect, nor is anyone and he is WELL aware of that. But all we need to do is give it a valiant effort. He knows what we are capable of, he knows our personality traits. He knows what he wants us to do. Be confidennt in the strengths the Lord has given you and realize that I have weaknesses but they can be strengthened through the Lord ( Ether 12:27) but also that all the encounters or people I meet he knows I am capable of serving and loving and teaching them. We are all called and can fill our callings or whatveer the Lord needs of us because he GAVE us those situations becuase he knew we ARE capable. That was my favorite point. Well I don't have much else to say. Oh yeahhhhhhhhh lastly so we had a mock baptism for our 'investigator' who accepted the invitation to be baptized from me and my companion. It just really made everything so real to me. We had people give talks and sing musical number and then the investigator bear his testimony. -hes really our teacher but the spirit was still present. It was good for our whole district becasue we all were kind of getting sad to leave the MTC but there are people out there waiting and to see the transformation in our investigator was just amazing and to hear his sweet testimony. I CANT WAIT. to be the Lords hands in other peoples lives. Spreading the gospel is sooo rewarding.I love it. Can I be a missionary forever?!just kidding.. i know I CAN. every memeber a missionary. Serve the ward. Love them, Thats a huge part of the Lords work tambien.Gotta jet.Hope I can talk to you all tommorow. Someone help dad figure out how to 3 way call. I'll call dads cell phone first with quarters but I have 500 minutes on my card but each call instantly takes 130 minutes. I want to maybe hear all your voices. So yeah idont know if its not possible thats fine too.. Love you all. I'll be calling at like 430/5 UTAH TIME so like 630/7 Boston time so idk what that is cali time.-Love you ALL so muchAlso thank you Kendal And Croz for doing such a good job keeping my facebook and blog up to date. Croz my MTC teacher friended me ammon halstead you can accept that. And if a roger sanchez does too you can accept that as well I think they are going to post some pictures of our district.- hermana Nnah
