Stand as a Witness

Hola Familia

Thank you for all the personal emails this week. I tried to give everyone meaningful emails so this email will probably be short. I can't believe I'm coming up on a month! Only 17 more.. hahah  Just kidding I'm not counting ME ENCANTA la obra de misioneras - I adore missionary work. It is amazing. Conference was soooooo gooood. Writing down questions to go to conference really makes the experience all the more meaningful. I received such inspiration and answers to my questions at conference just from promptings not even really talks directly talking about my questions that was cool. Mom and Dad you guys have sent me like alot of packages! I'm kind of shocked. Thanks for your love. I loved the easter and general conference packages they came in handy! I'm greatful for everyones love and support. The few things I got from conference this year was to stand as a witness. Never be ashamed we have a message that can change the world for the better! I also felt a lot of obedience being taught. This gospel is just so simple. We learned the devil is in the details. Live by and teach the simple truths. Keep the commandments-- love, repent, remeber Jesus Christ and why he suffered for us and we will be where our heart is. The Lord knows the desires of our hearts. He knows how sincere we are. I loved the talk which talked about the Lord WANTS to forgive us. He WANTs us to know his  love for us. he WANTS us to come unto him and be healed. The atonement is a GIFT. We are fallen. We are natural men and women, the atonement was given to us because the Lord WANTS us to return and because he loves us. Once we recognize its a gift and not something that chastizes us how simple is this plan. We can easily return. We need to use the resources we have been given! AHhh it all just clicked and i'm doing an awful job at explaingin it but the simplicity of this gospel is beautiful. And inspires hope for ALL. We also got to hear VOCAL POINT! they came and held a devotional after conferene and it was amazing. One song they sang was  come thou fount and it was soo beautiful. Then one of them said a few things that hit me. 1 is how can we say we can not do something or some one can not change. THat is not our place. That is not up to us to judge it is Heavenly FAther. He created us. He knows more than we do We are not ALLOWED to set limitations on ourseves because it is not up to us to decide. When we lack faith than you are setting a limitation. But the Lord and Heavenly Father really are the ones who prick hearts and decide if someone is capable of being changed by the sweetness of the gospel or if we can do something. Although I am scared to teach real life investogators I KNOW I can do it because the Lord is on my side! That's all the knowledge I need. Not only do I have a companion but I am in a trio with the Lord as my third companion aiding us with his spirit in all we do.

 Also the last thing that hit me this week. Not only is faith without works dead, works without faith works the same. There was an Elder in my district who got super sick and everyone kept asking him if he wanted a blessing. He said no I want to save that as a last resort. WOW. Thats like saying the Lord and the power of the priesthood is my LAST resort. How can we honeslty think that way. It made me think if we do not believe that the power of God will not work then it will not. works without faith is dead. Have FAITH. TAKE ACTION. Heavenly FAther is not our last resort. He should be our first. pray to him IN FAITH that he will hear and answer your prayers. At least thats what I do and I see his hand in my life daily. I love you all sooo much! Mom and Dad you rock.. Siblings and ssiter in laws you all are inspiring to me. LOVE LOVE LOVE you all.
